Recruiting The Most Uniquely Qualified Marketing Manager

An individual whom I had previously recruited for a company had become a hiring manager. They reached out to me because they needed recruiting help filling a Marketing Manager position with a person who had a very specific skill set.

After listening to my client’s needs and wants, I posted this open position, sourced and recruited candidates. After sourcing the best candidates, I interviewed them and used my proven process of elimination. The candidates who made the cut were given homework to complete in a timely manner, (24 hours) and should have only taken 10 minutes to do.  Three were chosen for the final round of interviews with my client, the hiring manager.

My client was thrilled with the selections. After the top three candidates were interviewed, we debriefed and discussed who would be the best fit for the role. I offered my expertise and provided insights. My client, who liked all three, hired the best person for the role based on culture fit and personality, as well as skills they needed. This process took approximately two weeks.

The hiring manager asked me to find a candidate with a few specific skills. I asked for their needs and wants and where they were willing to negotiate. I then shared my process and they accepted my terms. The hiring manager was able to answer my questions which allowed me to source for the correct individuals, and as a result, they got what they asked for and the applicant got the career role that they wanted.

What I do is not rocket science, but how and why I do what I do brings value, and purpose. It solves employers’ biggest problems and matches the best candidates with the best suited roles.  For more on my work click here, and to schedule a free consultation, click here.
