How To Post A Job In This Job Market

Employers, do you know the value of the role you are posting? Right now a lot of people will just send out their resume to see what sticks when they read a job description. Most may not even read the whole thing so when you post a new role for your company, make sure you have a few “must haves” listed and a few deal-breakers.

You don’t have to write a novel of a job post, in fact I would not advise that at all. My recommendation is to post the needs, wants, culture and the sizzle, (you know, why someone should work at your company). In today’s world, everyone has their own needs, so only try to capture the audience you want to hear from rather than every person.

Make it easy! What is the value of working with your company and what is the value of the role? What is the purpose of the role and why does it exist?
