How a Resume Makeover and Mindset Shift Landed My Client His Dream Job

My client submitted his old resume to a role he really wanted. In return, he heard crickets, and nothing else.

He hit me up, we spoke, we then consulted. He found his voice, his passion, and mostly his GRIT. He changed his resume so it showed his vision, his abilities, and mostly his value that he will be able to offer to any new company.

The job was reposted - a reminder that anything can happen! He submitted his new resume. 2 ½ weeks later he was offered his dream role. It wasn’t just because of his resume, but yes, it did get him in the door; it was his attitude.  Why? Because he knew who he was, what he could offer and how he could add VALUE, PURPOSE, and his WHY.

This story has a happy ending: he accepted the offer, and they increased his salary from $195-$215 and he was given another 5 days of PTO.
